The promotion of bio-enterprises is a strategy for the conservation of natural heritage, through the sustainable use of biodiversity. PROAmazon\u00eda promotes sustainable livelihoods from the use of Non-Timber Forest Products, i.e. those products from the forest other than wood; through research to improve the use of non-timber with commercial potential, the design of sustainable management plans, the strengthening of business capacities in communities, governance and knowledge management.<\/p>\n
