One of the measures prioritized by Ecuador to attack the causes of deforestation is the promotion of conservation, restoration and ecosystem connectivity, aimed at increasing carbon reserves. To achieve this, PROAmazon\u00eda strengthens forest conservation through the Socio Bosque Project, and management integrated with basin vision; through strategic alliances with three water sources.<\/p>\n
