{"id":6209,"date":"2022-04-14T09:33:54","date_gmt":"2022-04-14T14:33:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.proamazonia.org\/?p=6209"},"modified":"2023-04-12T17:06:06","modified_gmt":"2023-04-12T22:06:06","slug":"el-desarrollo-de-capacidades-y-la-gestion-del-conocimiento-aliados-para-la-conservacion-de-los-bosques-amazonicos-del-pais","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.proamazonia.org\/en\/el-desarrollo-de-capacidades-y-la-gestion-del-conocimiento-aliados-para-la-conservacion-de-los-bosques-amazonicos-del-pais\/","title":{"rendered":"Capacity-building and knowledge management allied for the conservation of the country\u2019s Amazon forests"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>92 participants from seven provinces of the country strengthen their capacities within the \u201cTrainer of Trainers in Training and Facilitation Tools\u201d program with a REDD+ approach<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>PROAmazon\u00eda, program of the National Government, which has the support of UNDP, is currently a benchmark for intersectoral articulation, which strategically manages the national agendas of forest conservation and sustainable production with a gender and intercultural approach, under the leadership of the Ministry of the Environment, Water and Ecological Transition (MAATE), and the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestosk (MAG), as implementing partners.<\/p>\n<p>The mid-term evaluation, carried out by PROAmazon\u00eda, showed that encouraging results have been achieved regarding the work made together with local governments, cacao, coffee, palm and sustainable livestock associations, Indigenous Peoples and Nationalities to promote sustainable and integrated management of natural resources within the framework of the implementation of the REDD+ Action Plan.
