Ecuador completed its preparation phase for REDD+ in 2016 and to ensure its operation, PROAmazon\u00eda provides support to facilitate reports for the United Nations Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and promote coordinated efforts among the different institutions involved in the implementation of the REDD+ Action Plan.<\/p>\n

It also supports the establishment of financial mechanisms to channel REDD+ resources and private sector involvement.<\/p>\n
